Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Astha Handicrafts Producer Company Limited, we strive to provide the best quality handmade products. However, if you need to cancel an order or request a refund, please read our Cancellation & Refund Policy carefully.
1. Order Cancellation Policy
1.1 Cancelling an Order Before Shipment
- Customers can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it.
- To request a cancellation, email us at orders@asthahandicrafts.com with your order ID.
- If the order has not been processed or shipped, we will issue a full refund.
- Customized or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has started.
1.2 Cancelling an Order After Shipment
- Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
- If you no longer want the product, you may return it after delivery (refer to the Return & Refund Policy below).
2. Return & Refund Policy
We accept returns and refunds only under the following conditions:
2.1 Eligibility for Returns
Customers may return products within 7 days of delivery, if:
✅ The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon arrival.
✅ The product is unused, in original packaging, with all tags attached.
✅ Proof of purchase (order ID, invoice) is provided.
❌ Non-Returnable Products:
- Customized or made-to-order products.
- Discounted or clearance sale items.
- Items damaged due to misuse or mishandling.
2.2 Return Process
1️⃣ Email returns@asthahandicrafts.com within 7 days of receiving the product.
2️⃣ Attach clear images of the item showing the defect/damage.
3️⃣ Our team will review the request and provide further instructions.
4️⃣ Once approved, ship the item back to our return address (shipping details will be provided in the approval email).
5️⃣ After receiving and inspecting the product, we will process your exchange or refund within 7-10 business days.
📌 Note: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item was received in a damaged or defective condition.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 When Will You Get a Refund?
Refunds will be issued in the following cases:
✅ Order was cancelled before shipping.
✅ Product was defective, damaged, or incorrect (return approved).
✅ Refund request was made within 7 days of receiving the item.
3.2 Refund Process
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you via email.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days.
3.3 Refund Method
✔️ Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during the purchase:
- Razorpay (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking) – Refund credited within 7-10 business days.
- Wallet Payments (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, etc.) – Refund credited within 5-7 business days.
- Bank Transfer (if applicable) – May take 7-12 business days to reflect in your account.
🚫 Cash on Delivery (COD) orders are non-refundable. However, customers can opt for an exchange or store credit.
4. Exchange Policy
- We offer exchanges only for defective, incorrect, or damaged items.
- Exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
- The replacement will be shipped within 5-7 business days after approval.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:
✅ Check your bank account or payment method statement.
✅ Contact your bank or payment provider – It may take some time before the refund is processed.
✅ If you still have not received your refund after 10 business days, email us at support@asthahandicrafts.com.
